Sustainability plays an increasingly important role worldwide and we try to make our contribution to this important issue. We give a new life to every used machine tool and save them from being scrapped. This saves the environment twice.
We save them all!
The trade with used machine tools and their reconditioning shows how important it is for us to treat the resources of our world with care. Through expertise and repairs, we improve the condition and make them ready for use again. Some of our company cars are already electric and we charge them with electricity produced by ourselves, directly at our location. With many other actions, such as switching to recycled paper, purchasing a recycling box for aerosol cans, offering company bicycles to our employees, and purchasing work clothes made from organic cotton, we try to make a contribution and raise awareness of sustainable issues among our employees.
In order to keep the focus on this issue in the future, we have established an internal group that reviews all business decisions in terms of sustainability and our ecological footprint.
In autumn 2023, together with our employees, we supported the NaBu's mobile phone collection campaign, and in spring 2024 together we redesignes the forcourt of our company with a lot of insect friendly plants.
This year, we took part in our first "Stadtradeln" event, cycling a total of 1,849 kilometers.
